Our Jamaican Sarsaparilla Root (Smilax regelii) is hand-harvested by local herb men who trek deep into the high rural hills of Jamaica to dig these roots by hand. After harvesting, each root is thoroughly washed, sun-dried in the warm Jamaican sunshine, hand-cut, and carefully packaged — so you receive the root exactly as nature intended.
Traditionally believed to support:

How to prepare:
Add 1–2 pieces of root to 2–3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes. Strain, sweeten with honey or cane sugar if desired, and enjoy warm or chilled. You can re-boil the same root 2–3 times.
